  1. holy hrafintinnusker. sounds like you guys are on a "get tough" trip of your own, despite the sheltered accommodations and home cooked meals. nights out like you had in the storm can be scary and humbling, giving you a healthy respect for nature, but also hopefully making the gorgeous days even better appreciated. Tina, I hope you get more gorgeous days and less scary/frozen days soon!

  2. Dave and I are excited reading what each day brings for you while we sit in our comfortably air-conditioned home avoiding the 98 degree days with humidity so thick you can barely breathe -- feeling envious of your wet, cold howling winds and rain wishing for a dinner of dried Haddock with some garlic butter. Steph manages to make even a sandwich of lettuce, cheese and mustard look good. The pictures are spectacular but we can't wait to hear it all over again in person. Your mother is incredible! After you get heimili and have a nice sturta, I'll make you some brauo with ostu, bake you kaka w/ jaroarber and bjar. No more kind and fiskur! Hafa orugga fero!
